We provide care and nursing support to children and adults with complex health needs. Offering care and nursing is only a small part of what we do, and we believe that everybody should have the opportunity to enjoy new experiences whilst having the best quality of life possible.
Our staff are trained in bespoke courses that are individual to our service users, and are also able to manage complex care in many ways. Depending on the individual, these care tasks could range from a medical need including OBS, suctioning, care of peg, bowel management, temperature management, fluid management and so on to different types of complex care. This care may involve in-depth behavioural plans where staff follow the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, stimulus satiation, stimulus control, and many others.
Whilst we have given some examples above, this is by no means an exhaustive list of the tools we use to manage complex care packages, the training we have, and that we are willing to undertake as a team.
We believe we have and will manage complex care packages with expertise, professionalism, and confidence whilst ensuring that the needs and wishes of our service users are at the heart of everything we do.
